On the western maryland scenic railroad from cumberland to frostburg maryland. motive power was #734, affectionately known as mountain thunder. friday was a limited number of riders, about 25 or so using just the caboose to ride in. saturday and sunday were much larger groups using passenger equipment. friday's runby's were also the rare eastbound runby's as the usual trip is westbound to frostburg, where the engine is turned on the turntable and run back nonstop to cumberland.
